I'm curious & observant. I like to ask why & what if.
To uncover user motivations and frustrations, I dig deeper. I listen, pay attention to actions, and ask questions. I use a user-centered design process and validate my design decisions with data from user research, usability testing, and analytics. I am a partner to the colleagues I work with in my agile product development team. I blend user needs with business goals to create thoughtful, practical experiences that solve real problems.

My recent work
From 2018-2024, I grew my UX design and research skills at AppFolio (property management software).
Within a cross-functional agile team, I solved challenges our customers faced when billing for property maintenance by designing a more efficient, accurate, and automated billing process. In addition to product design, I was also focused on supporting the maintenance domain product strategy and vision. I actively supported the growth of the UX organization through mentoring of several junior- and mid-level designers, interviewing of candidates, and participation in the onboarding of new hires.
Past product areas I’ve worked in include renters insurance, lease renewals, revenue management, budgets, purchase orders, procurement integration with Lowe's, and corporate accounting.
